Abstrak
Background: Pregnant women experience physical and psychological changes during the pregnancy process, these changes cause the mother to experience several complaints such as back pain, the body feels weaker and easily tired. One way to reduce maternal complaints is to do yoga exercises. The results of interviews with pregnant women at the Juata Health Center, pregnant women often complain of back pain, tired easily, have difficulty sleeping and feel anxious about childbirth and have never received yoga exercises.
Methods: This community service uses health education techniques in the form of counseling and demonstrations of yoga exercise for pregnant women that have been formed in a class group of pregnant women.
Results: 10 pregnant women who participated in community service activities were active until the end.
Conclusion: Community service increases knowledge and skills of mothers about pregnancy and prenatal yoga. Suggestions for the future classes of pregnant women that are formed can be used by mothers to share information and skills about pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, baby care, and it is hoped that in the future this activity will continue on an ongoing basis by maintaining friendship through social media.
