Abstrak
Background: The Mother's Death Rate (AKI) is among the important indicators of the degree of public health. AKI describes the number of women who die from a cause of deaths linked to pregnancy disorders or treatment (not including accidents or incidental cases) during pregnancy, childbirth and in nifas (42 days after giving birth) without taking account for the long of the pregnancy per 100,000-born. The Abiotic Community Goals for the importance of doing health checks to improve the welfare of pregnant women and children to be better.
Methods: The method of implementing activities is carried out by using the adaptation method of this activity is divided into 3 parts, namely: planning, implementation, and evaluation, activities are carried out well seen an increase shown by the residents, enthusiastically and enthusiasm during activities, even the residents ask for this activity to be carried out again in the near future.
Results: The results obtained by Residents Binalatung understood the importance of maternal health checks and Children.
